As today, on 8th March 2020 OD turns two, we celebrate the birthdays of every individual that is associated with the business. “If you want to lift yourself up, lift up someone else.” - says Arushi Kalsi, says the lady entrepreneur who runs a shoe manufacturing unit with a team of 30 skilled women who are trained to carry out the entire process by themselves. Overdrive came into the active business in 2018. The company is more than ever healthy and in step with market trends, never leaving behind its artisan past. The unit strongly stands by sustainable development and utilizes leftovers and remnants from its production to make incredible accessories.
As we talk about this day, 8th March is widely celebrated international woman’s day and the very reason why we chose this occasion to launch our brand, explains the young aspiring founder with her eyes lit up. Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. The ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results. And women, are the epitome of extremes. “Women are the mammoth reservoir of power and talent which has yet not been tapped. Empowering women is the main motto of the development department because an empowered mother with a child makes a bright future for any nation.
